Both the hardware and software were designed around our specific requirements and the reporting functions within these units were tailored to suit our particular business model.
Subsequent to this initial order we have since rolled out API’s Intelli range to all of our company owned sites, providing us with far greater control over our cash handling processes and the handling of the cash flow at a store level.
Since API have taken over the day to day support of BP’s fleet we have seen a dramatic reduction in site maintenance and have further managed to refine our systems.
The Intelli range of products has allowed BP Oil New Zealand to streamline its store security, removing the potential for back office processing errors and allowing us to bank (and recognise our bankings) in a far more cost effective manner than was previously the case.

We received our cash machine from API in October 2005. This machine is a prototype built for our specific requirements. API provided us with training and assistance throughout the implementation of the machine and ongoingly as required.
The machine has also provided us with much greater flexibility and reaction time for providing our registers with change when required. Previously, a manager had to be contacted and had to walk through the store to our cash office to obtain change and then return it to the register. Now staff are able to obtain change from our service desk area.
